Rare and Hot - Mutant Colors and Styles

We have been breeding chins for many years and we have a great selection of hard to find colors, such as Ebony, that are very popular and in high demand.

We are careful in our breeding techniques and have striven to generate chinchillas with beautiful temperaments and gorgeous colors that are cute beyond belief!

Another popular mutant is the Dwarf Chinchilla, but it is difficult to find breeders that can provide you with them.

We have a great stock of this charming chinchilla and they share all the great behavioral attributes of Standard Chinchillas, the only difference is that they are just smaller.

Dwarfs

Dwarf Chinchillas are approximately half the size of normal sized chinchillas. An adult's average weight is 12 ounces and they fit in the palm of your hand.

Physical hallmarks of a well bred dwarf are that they have small feet, short bushy tails, wide hips, and large heads. See more of our selections here.

Due to their small size dwarf females should not be bred. We recommend breeding normal sized carrier females with either dwarf males or dwarf carrier males.
